An aspis (Ancient Greek: ἀσπίς, plural aspides, ἀσπίδες), sometimes also referred to as an hoplon (Greek: ὅπλον), was the heavy wooden shield used by the infantry in various periods of ancient Greece.

Aspis QR Plate Carrier (Quick Release) is a lightweight, uni- sized (One Size fits all from chest size 100cm to 128cm), fully adjustable vest with Soft Armour and Plate Pockets (front and back) for extra coverage. The quick release system ensures rapid removal when necessary. The heavy duty Molle System covers the entire vest which is attachment-friendly. The Drag Handle is an absolutely, no-fail piece of gear for getting you out of dangerous situations.
